Star Wars Stormtrooper Anniversary Card

Good morning.  Hope you are having a good day.

I have a geeky card to share today.  My family....we're all a little bit geeky (in the nicest possible way).  We all love star wars, comic books, cult movies, etc.... so I felt this card with a stormtopper on suited my brother and his wife.

I have made this card using
Heart Trooper from the Star Heroes Clipart Valentine Set by Dorky Prints.
It's a precoloured image so printed and mounted this onto card and then stamped and heat embossed the sentiment.

Not a lot going on with todays card, this was a quick and easy make.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day.

I'll see you soon.

DigiStamp Boutique Guitar Monster Birthday Card

Good morning.  I hope you are having a good day and the sun is shining wherever you happen to be.  The weather here in the Midlands is a bit changeable it doesn't quite know what to do.

Todays post has a card that I made for one of my brothers, he plays the guitar and he was a little monster so the image seemed fitting.

The image is Guitar Monster from DigiStamp Boutique coloured with copics.
The background has been stamped with the My Favorite Things Party Patterns stamp set using their Hybrid Ink Pads.
Hand drawn scribbled border.

Thanks for stopping by.  I'm now off out shopping, I need to get some bit's and pieces for my holiday, this time next week I shall be somewhere a bit warmer.  Have a wonderful day and I'll see you soon.

Crafty Calendar May Challenge All Dressed Up Card

Good afternoon.  A little bit late posting today, weekends at the moment are taken up with sorting out all the things that need to be done after someone has passed away.....luckily my OH has given up valuable birdwatching time to help.....although he does keep telling me about all the rare birds that are turning up around the country that he isn't seeing and how it's key migration time....

It's the first Saturday in May so we have a new challenge over at Crafty Calendar
The theme for this month is
'Flowers'
so time to share your floral theme creations.

For my card I have used
All Dressed Up Little Flower Girl image coloured with copics.
The DP's are from my stash, the pink dotty paper is from the Forever Friends Kraft Stack but the flower paper is a random piece and I have no idea where it came from.
The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards

I printed the image in a light pink colour to give it a sort of no line effect when it was coloured.  First time that I tried the technique, I will try it again, but will give it a few weeks to get over this one first...

When I finished the card the hat didn't have dots and the paper flowers.  Before I had photographed the card I had a bit of an accident and had to try and salvage it.

I was messing with a calligraphy pen and red ink and somehow managed to splash the ink and I hadn't moved the card to a safe distance so it had dots of red ink on it.  To try and salvage it I added the dots on the hat and the flowers cut from the paper which cover red ink splashes.  I quite like the dots...they sort of match the paper.

Note to self in future when a card is finished don't leave it on the desk when you start messing with other things.
